Changing Masterpiece Frame
A brilliant, beautiful way to have a continuous show at your party. You can use a
high-tech digital photo “receiver” to do the same job
but it won’t have the charm of a lovely ornate frame. Place it in a quiet
area at your reception on a table where the projector can sit
undisturbed about five feet behind it.
Directions
- Lay frame face down on some padding (folded beach towel) on table. Position fabric so it
extends 2” past opening on all sides. Staple to the frame about an inch in from opening in middle
of top edge. Stretch fabric slightly and staple in middle of bottom. Next, stretch fabric and staple
in center of right side of frame, then go across and staple on left. Keep stapling, stretching and
stapling the matching position on the other side of the frame until fabric is smooth and well-anchored.
- Make sure screws are short enough that they won’t come out front of frame. Hold shelf supports
against the back of frame so that the bottom of the “L” is even with the bottom edge of frame. Mark
the frame with pencil where the screw holes are. Drill guide holes where the screws go in, being
careful not to come out front of frame. Screw supports to frame.
- Set up the frame at the party, decorate with flowers, and put weights on the supports to keep
bumps to the table from knocking it forward.
