Dream Stones
Sometimes all it takes to keep a dream alive is a beautiful little stone
on your desk or nightstand to remind you.

Directions
- We used pearlized Sculpey in Gold, Red Pearl and Teal Pearl. Break off a piece of each of
two colors so the overall size of both together is that of a walnut. Twist and fold the clay a
couple of times, so the colors intermix/marbleize but not so much that they start to blend to make new color.
- Roll into a ball and then flatten into a thick stone. (Note: if you want your stones to
have the weight of real stones, stick a nickel into each ball before flattening then make sure
coin is completely covered.)
- Center rubber stamp and press into clay wobbling slightly up and down and back and forth
to make a complete impression. If you go too deep and you see the square outline of the stamp,
just smooth those lines out with your finger.
- Bake according to package directions. When hard and cool, brush over word with acrylic paint
and immediately wipe off. This will leave paint only in the letter depressions.
- To add the “face” (do this at the flattened ball stage), press a separate small piece of
Sculpey into back of large sun-face charm and pull out. Lay your clay face on the shaped stone
and use your fingers to blend the edges into existing stone. Stamp if you wish and bake as instructed.
