Gem Photo and Word Magnets
A great craft for kids (the decoupage part) or to do with friends. No matter how much wine
you consume, you cant do a bad job and the finished magnets are great!

Directions
- Hold a clear glass jewel over the parts of the photocopied pictures you want to use to
insure the images are small enough to fit. Place the jewel with the flat side over the face
or image you want and draw around it with a pencil. Cut out the shape, cutting a bit within
the pencil line.
- On the printed side of the paper, brush a thin coat of Mod Podge with the foam brush, and
smooth it onto the flat side of the jewel. Use your finger to flatten the paper against the
glass and wipe away any extra glue that oozes out.
- When dry, hot-glue a magnet to the flat side of the jewel.
- Arrange magnets on iron squares (these can be spray-painted any color) or small rusted
metal sheets. Place in crackly cello bags and finish by gathering top with ribbon.
