Blue Moon Cake Design of Denver created this "stack" of gifts, all completely edible and beautifully done. Perfect for this
MitzvahChic "Gifts" party theme in a small size as a centerpiece or large as a cake for all the guests.

In the "Gifts" party, guests get a placecard that has a hole punched in it and a necklace chain threaded through. There's a treasure chest on each table or there's just one for the whole room. All evening long, guests earn keys by contributing to the party with their good humor, participation in dances - whatever.
The family has secreted something in the chests that they consider of great value. We recommend it be an invitation to spend time with them by giving - for example, a video store gift card with some microwave popcorn and candy for an evening they can have together with the guest. The family decides how and when everyone tries their keys for the big reveal. Another ways guests can get keys - in a pinata.

The Gifts theme idea in MitzvahChic involves pulling charms and keys out from under the centerpiece cake. The keys are to try in the lock of the treasure chest. The charms are for fun and they're party favors. Since you've given each guest a neck chain earlier in the evening, they just put the charm on that. This photo shows the charms we used. Click on the link below for a card you can print out and place on the table to explain what the charms mean.
