Party Favor Crafts...
Party or Sleepover in a Can
Kids just wanna have fun and that means parties and sleepovers. This party favor guarantees
that at the end of your bar mitzvah / bat mitzvah, birthday party or Sweet 16 blowout, they’re just getting started.
Suggested can contents
Girls: Glitter body gel, facial masks, nail polish, manicure and pedicure tools, temporary
tattoos, gel jewelry, hairwrap supplies and beads, Truth or Dare cards, appropriate add-ons from
“Boys” list below.
Boys: Sunglasses, disposable cameras, card games, magic tricks, hackey-sacks, gum, CDs,
colored hair gel, small flashlights, skateboard stickers, food, socks.
Directions
- The hardest parts of this party favor are making the label and deciding which great
gifts to put inside.
- For the label, get some decorated stationery with a party theme or theme that reflects
your child’s interests. Type out on your computer your label message (see ours for one idea).
If you’re really computer-shy, you can go to a Kinko’s or other copy shop for help. Once
you’ve got a label design you like on the stationery, have it copied onto full-sheet
peel-and-stick label paper, one copy for each can you’re making.
- Cut out labels and stick onto the cans. Fill the cans with loot and seal them with
rubber mallet. Decorate with curly ribbon.
