Toddler Sock Change Purses
Who can forget those precious little feet?
Who could resist these charming little mementos? This craft was created for a
special bar mitzvah / bat mitzvah theme party in MitzvahChic but would also be perfect for
a baby shower or for wistful grown-up guests at a child’s birthday party, reflecting
on how they all grow up too fast.

Directions
- Take the purse frame with you when shopping for the socks to make sure that the sock top is
sized well for the frame.
- If needed to make the top of sock better match the shape of frame, make an angled cut on each
edge of the sock top like this (for narrow socks, you need only make about a 1” slit down each edge
of sock top.
- It’s fairly self-explanatory from here. The
purse frame has little sewing holes for you to stitch through. I double the thread and do a continuous
line of stitching by going down into Hole #1, coming back up through Hole #2 and then going back down
into Hole #1, and up through Hole #2. Then I go back down Hole #2 to start all over, this time coming
up Hole #3.
